Jim Francis – Chief Executive Officer
James E. “Jim” Francis brings over twenty years’ of experience structuring large and complex strategic professional services agreements with Global 2000 clients. In addition to his broad market development experience, Jim’s brings applied expertise in applying lean, responsive, and competitive rigor to Sendent Energy.
Prior to Sendent Energy, Jim served as an executive with Accenture, structuring management consulting, business process, and information technology agreements across various industries. Jim also served as an executive for HP/EDS’ Global Financial Services Industry. At IBM, Jim became the youngest individual on record, in the history of IBM to be awarded the prestigious, ‘Golden Circle Award’ for market growth, sales excellence, and achievement.
Jim is an active member of the regional community, sitting on advisory boards, working with a regional charitable organization, and coaching local youth athletics. Jim stays active as an FAA licensed pilot and Mixed Martial Arts student and practitioner. Jim received his undergraduate degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Babson College, where he served as student body president, and is currently a member of the Babson College Board of Overseers.
Horace Tiggs IV – Strategy Market Growth and Operations
Horace is a credentialed senior executive with nearly two decades of experience delivering Strategy, Technology, and Operational Solutions for large organizations. His background spans multiple industries including Energy, Chemical, and Utilities corporations. His passion for team building and his recognition of the advantages of a diverse workforce combined with a fierce dedication to build and deliver high quality programs, has made him a respected voice in business. Horace infuses his management, process, and IT expertise to drive high performance.
Horace’s commitment to engage at every level of an assignment from the operations floor to the C -Suite enables him to establish clear and efficient communication so that all the stakeholders are informed and empowered. An example of his strong results were witnessed by a Fortune Utility company. Horace was brought in to lead a transformational initiative for a $130MM Customer Care and Billing Implementation Program. This program was behind by 12+ months, upon Horace’s arrival, so he set forth a responsive and rapid deployment strategy. He then assembled a diverse team of over 70 professionals spanning multiple functions, working 15 + hour weekdays to reach their milestones. This leadership enabled the successful delivery of a complex, and behind schedule program, within a 5-month window.
Horace serves on the boards of several companies which focus on professional training, diversity and faith based advocacy. He graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a BS in Chemical Engineering.
Lee Griffin – Senior Vice President, Energy Markets East
Lee has spent over 10 years in local public service, and 20 years in corporate management specializing in process improvement and developing operational efficiencies. He has managed and supported enterprise transformation programs for enterprise organizations and has driven executive level operational and technology project support at both CIGNA and Aetna. With his guidance multiple large scale initiatives have led to new product innovations, growth, and enterprise level process redesigns.
Lee has also had extensive experience in the public and labor health insurance sales and services markets. In this role, Lee has worked with various organizations to orchestrate multi tower growth initiatives.
Lee has been elected as a public official in the East Hartford, CT, in roles as a Town Councilor and as a member of the Board of Education. In these roles, he has worked tirelessly to find collaborative and cost effective solutions, to enable a more efficient public sector function. Lee has also served his country both in the U.S. Air Force and the Connecticut Air National Guard. Lee was a Union member of the Teamsters, and has served on, and presided over multiple non-profit boards. Lee received his MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and his B.A. from The University of Connecticut.
